Instructions:::

This application was created as an experiment in photo montage using Flash. The program uses 240 images to create one composite image of the Arapahoe National Forest in Summit County Colorado. The 240 images are photographs I took along the Loveland Pass Highway. The application attempts to recreate the Mountain Range using user defined settings.

The user defined parameters are set using the Text Box and Shape Selectors shown above. These are positioned along the path to the top of the mountain seen in the main interface. Text number in the text box can be changed to set the number of photographs taken at each location along the path to the top. The Shape Selectors determine the shape of the pictures used from each location. The application will randomly determine the placement best suited for each picture. The number of pictures and the shape Selection can be set for each of the 7 locations. The location determine placement of the images. Pictures taken at locations near the top of the pass represent higher elevation photographs. Pictures Taken near the bottom of the pass represent lower elevation images. The final image created represents a perspective from the bottom of the Mountain Range looking up. So Lower elevation Images overlap higher elevation images.
